[Greek] hystera = uterus
Noun: Hysteria
Definition:
1. exaggerated or uncontrollable emotion or excitement.
2. old-fashioned term for diagnosable physical illness in women
HYSTERIA originates form the Greek word hystera, meaning uterus - the ultimate force of creation. But trough history hysteria has been used as a diagnose to describe behavioural abnormalities in women, abnormalities such as the failure to marry and inability to bear children.
With HYSTERIA I wish to take the word back to its original strength, back to its force of creating.
